MotoTec X4 150cc Dirt Bike – 5-Speed Manual, Electric Start with Kick Backup, Dual Disc Brakes

The MotoTec X4 150cc is a full-size, manual-clutch dirt bike for riders ready to move up to a real shifting experience. Its 150cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine makes 8.6hp at 8,500 rpm through a 5-speed manual gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch, and a central-tube, high-strength steel frame carries the load. The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear aluminum rims give it the big-bike stance, and the seat sits 35 inches off the ground.

Starting and control

Press the button for electric start from the 12V battery, or use the kick-start as a backup if the battery is ever flat. You change gears with the clutch lever in the standard 1-N-2-3-4-5 pattern, so the bike teaches proper clutch and shift technique.

Suspension and brakes

Adjustable inverted hydraulic forks give 180 mm (7.1 in) of travel up front, with a rear shock giving 90 mm (3.5 in). A dual-piston 240 mm front disc and a single-piston 240 mm rear disc handle stopping.

Who it’s for
