The Rotax 125 MAX DD2 EVO combines a 2-speed paddle-shift gearbox with a chainless drive. Steel gear ratios run submerged in oil and form a wet clutch, replacing the usual chain and sprocket. DD2 chassis are built with front brakes and a rear tire protection system to improve safety, so check that your chassis is a DD2 design before you order.
Electronic power valve and carburetion
The DD2 EVO’s electronic power valve opens at 8,800 rpm or 9,100 rpm, depending on driver preference. The standard carburetor setup covers nearly all operating conditions, and for extreme conditions you can change the jetting between sessions instead of tuning while racing. The engine has an integrated electric starter with ignition switch.
